Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our pages. The operator of the relevant plug-in is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a page containing the YouTube plug-in, a connection with YouTube servers will be established. This notifies YouTube which pages you are visiting. When a YouTube video starts, the provider deploys cookies to collect indications of user behaviour.
If you have deactivated cookies for the Google Ad Programme, no such cookies will be created when you watch YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal user information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you will need to deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser.

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you arrive at our website via an advertisement placed by Google, Google AdWords will set a cookie on your computer. This Conversion Tracking cookie is created if a user clicks on an advertisement placed by Google. These cookies cease to be valid after 30 days and do not serve the purpose of personal identification. If a user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google are able to recognise that the user has clicked on the advertisement and has been forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can thus not be traced via the websites of AdWords customers. The purpose of the information obtained via Conversion Cookies is to develop conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who have clicked on their advertisement and have been forwarded to a site with a Conversion Tracking tag. They do not, however, receive any information which enables them to identify users personally.

If you do not wish to take part in tracking, you may refuse placement of the cookie that is required. This can be achieved by adjusting your browser settings so as to generally deactivate the automatic placement of cookies or by amending your browser settings so that cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com” are blocked.

Please note that you will not be able to maintain records of your measurement data if you delete the cookies using the opt-out function. You will need to reset the opt-out cookie if you delete all the cookies in your browser.
